Schwartz was a four-year letterman as a member of The University of Texas Men’s Basketball Team. In 2019, as a service associate with the New Orleans Pelicans and New Orleans Saints, Schwartz assisted with gameday promotions, daily internal operations and provided account management for season ticket holders. Prior to his return to sports on a full-time basis, Schwartz secured his real estate license and was actively involved in sales, leasing and appraisal assistance at Harrell Realty in Waco. He also served as the head coach for the JV and Middle School teams at Vanguard. ![]() He also plays a key role in all on-campus recruiting matters, video coordination, basketball camps and stats and analytics.īefore being hired as a member of the LSU Women’s Basketball staff, Schwartz coached at Vanguard College Preparatory School where he was the interim head coach and later assistant coach for the varsity squad. In addition, he organizes the Dream Team, the practice squad that assists the LSU Women’s Basketball team in preparing for competition. In his role with the Tigers, Schwartz also creates graphic design content related to recruiting efforts. He also engaged with student groups at LSU to allow the Tigers to have one of the toughest students sections for visiting teams to face on the road. His efforts in video coordination were critical in allowing the team to review scouts in order to prepare for upcoming opponents. Schwartz was a key component to the staff as the Tigers won their first national championship in 2023. He has also had the opportunity to work on the court, per NCAA guidelines when assistant coaches have been on the recruiting trail. A former walk-on at Texas, Schwartz joined Coach Mulkey’s staff when she came to LSU and has worked seamlessly in video production and recruiting to allow the Tigers to excel. ![]() This is Schwartz’ first official on-court role of his young career.
